Activity:

- Finished implementing the first version of level design from Project A

Changelog:

- Adjusted enemies' properties to be in line with Project A

- Implemented the rising acid

- Added a timer

- Added a sort of main menu where the player can choose a difficulty and where they can see their best score as well as their last achieved score (these values are saved in PlayerPrefs and as such persist through exiting and relaunching the game)

- Added a prevention that stops the player from moving while this menu is up on screen

- Hid cursor while playing

Notes:

I have not had to adjust the level design any further in any way to make the mechanics work. I made a minor change where the pressure plate on the last moving platform is not visible, however the change is purely cosmetic. I spent a big chunk of time simply playtesting the game, as I managed to achieve my goal of making a hard to finish level and because of that it took me a lot of tries to even finish the game - outside of the editor, after building the game, I only managed to finish it three times. I imagine it will be a lot more frustrating for other players who do not know what to do in advance, but since that was kind of my vision for this project I count that as a success.
